I don't know about you but I've always associated white or cream with purity and festiveness, it's probably a matter of culture and tradition.
So now that these holidays are over and the next holiday, Passover will be in April (… I know Hanukkah is in December, Tu Bishvat in Jan and Purim in March. But between us, a holiday without a significant work break doesn't really count in my eyes ;-))
So what do we do with all this white we bought ?!
wear it!
White clothing and accessories can create, naturally, an everyday look if you combine them with other light, colorful and less formal items.
Just like the color black, white is also achromatic (colorless) and therefore fits in well with any other color, so there's no real reason to keep it only for special occasions.
Bottom line, in my eyes there is one rule, which I adopted from Oscar Wilde –
"You can never be overdressed or overeducated",
so make everyday a special holiday and wear white!
