First thing that pops to mind when I hear fringe – Tina Turner!
There isn't another woman in the world that is best known for that trend and the way to best capitalize on its advantages, more than her
(yes that's right, I grew up in the 80's).
Maybe it's due to the mesmerizing movement of those thin strips of fabric that we are blessed with a brief comeback of this flapping trend on the runways every few years.
You'll find this hot trend on the seams of dresses, skirts or jackets and even a hint of it on shoes and hand bags.
But of course, like in every passing trend, it's a big no no to over do it or overload. In saying that, one item that features the fringe will be sufficient for the creation of a modern, feminine yet chic look.
This week, inspired by the woman herself and the holidays, I decided to take the look out to town to have a good time. Not sure I'm going to find a club that will play me some Tina, but I promise you all that I will warmly dedicate to you, in my personal living room – "simply the best!"
