This year, during the holiday period, I decided to make the city my destination.
For a few months now I've been looking enviously at the tourists that decorate our city streets, during my lunchtime and on the way to work, and I promised myself that next time I'm gonna vacay in Tel Aviv!
I'll start the day at my local cafe and not just walk by it swiftly because it's already past 8:30. I'll ride my bike on the boardwalk, read a book on the grass in the park, finally go the beach, visit a museum, try out the new food stalls at the market… in short, the list is long.
And so, as a vacation should be, I'm getting off the high heels and throwing formality out the window, slapping on my flats and fun flowy maxi dresses – to whom I've previously dedicated a hints and tips list btw.
I hope this turns out to be a real vacation and that I won't end up getting tempted to do chores and run errands ; -)
So on that note … may we all have a wonderful holiday, happy and sweet new year!
