BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL

Let's have a chat about colors. I don't know about you but lately, every time I walk into a shop and see "exciting" colors (unique and bright) my indicator turns on and it doesn't let me continue on my way until the item is not picked up, packed up and taken away by me. Moreover, since my blog was "aired", I've published more articles that included colorful items than those that include a mix of dark colors and my Instagram gallery is very colorful … there's no doubt that this matter demands a psychological analysis itself, but recently I wondered, why do people limit themselves to only a small variety of colors and don't enjoy an endless sequence of colors instead?!

THE LOOK

Ho Ho Ho!

Some of my friends are celebrating Christmas in a few days.

From time to time I write and share my holiday experiences and suddenly I noticed that not all my friends celebrate the same ones. Between you and me, that is a pretty awesome thing! Like that I get invited to more events and celebrations, and who am I to refuse a party or a good meal? ;- )

But the food… Ohhh the food… Why is it that every celebration has to include a table full of irresistible delicious goodness?!

In the holiday spirit I decided to offer a fashionable interpretation to the rigid office look that includes all the holiday attributes without looking like an over decorated Christmas tree.

So may it be a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year and if you need some help with present ideas, I'm here!

THE LOOK

DENIM

I've never worn jeans to work. When you think about it, I have, maybe, four pairs of jeans in my closet… if we don't count those goal jeans that I keep there just in case one day I manage to fit into them ;- )

I mean, If you actually think about it, I haven't worn jeans in the middle of the week for the past 10 years (at least!) not dark ones, black or white ones, expensive or cheap ones.

It's not like I have something against jeans, god forbid, it's actually the opposite. Jeans are "too cool" and that's exactly the thing! It's not them, it's me.

COLOR-FALL

There is something gloomy about autumn. the hot summer is coming to it's end, trees are shedding their leaves and the days are getting shorter.

When you think about it, there is also something very fashionable about this season. Before shedding, the trees turn into brilliant pillars of gold and orange, like a one off colorful fashion show designed to disappear off the shelves in a short time.

MY DESK

live a little love a lot

Tomorrow is Tu B'Av.

Unlike what is generally believed, it is not the Jewish version of the romantic Valentine's day, but it is a holiday of reconciliation and love.

Reconciliation – what a big word; it took me much struggle and coming to terms with myself, to clear the cynicism and understand that ego is a dangerous thing.

…And love – I believe in it with all its clichés, "Only love draws love", "I have love and it shal prevail " or whatever.

This Tu B'Av, I decided to celebrate the reconciliation and love with little gifts to myself. Egoistic?! …maybe, but I hope you do it too.

Love yourself, you deserve it, leave moodiness to others  :- )
