THE KEY FASHION TRENDS TO KNOW ABOUT FOR AUTUMN – WINTER 2018/19
It is now official – daylight saving time has begun and the days have turned a bit colder.
Although it seemed for a minute like winter has failed to arrive, there‘s a big chance that while you‘re reading these lines winter will have already landed in our region.
So yes, the Israeli winter is warmer compared to farther regions abroad, but there‘s no reason it should be any less fashionable and updated. So I decided to put together a follow-up article to the trend guide I posted a few weeks ago and set some order in the various fashion trends I haven‘t addressed yet.
THE KEY FASHION TRENDS TO KNOW ABOUT FOR Autumn – Winter 2018/19
Welcome back to reality!
The holiday season is over, you’ve stopped posting photos from dreamy vacations (thank god!) and as for me – the opulent family dinner season has come to an end.
I don’t know what it’s like for you, but with every year that goes by – our holiday
dinners seem to become more of a feast that’s gone out of control. If that’s not enough, during the days I had a break from all the holiday fuss, I found myself attending culinary events and Friday night dinners at friends’ houses where – how can I phrase this elegantly – common sense was left outside of the kitchen as well.
By the way, please note that a fast, effective and proven method for losing all of those extra pounds you’ve accumulated over the holidays is wearing a coat. Works every time ;-)
My parents were seeking a destination for a cool summer vacation. One thing led to another, and I found myself in Porto.
It’s not as if I completely barged in on their trip, they simply realized their vacation wouldn’t be the same without me ;-)
I’ve been wanting to visit Portugal – and Porto specifically – for quite some time now. The stories and pictures that were related to this destination stroke an urge in me – to experience this incredible town and travel to a place that resembles no other I’ve ever visited before.
“I can do anything I want during the summer vacation” (Hebrew Children songs).
Although I graduated from high school a long time ago and memories of the infamous summer vacation (the year of rethinking my life course) the one I went on two years ago, are beginning to fade, however, “somehow” it happened that this year July was full of indulgences and vacations.
I went off on a family vacation in Greece. Maybe it’s my Greek roots (Hey Thessaloniki!) or maybe it’s the fact that I was born in summer, but the sun and the blue sea are my favorite pastime.
My friends who climb mountains and those who love to hike will forgive me, but I find it hard to understand the pleasure in a challenging trip. As far as I’m concerned, people watching while sitting in the sun drinking a frosty cocktail, is a sport that I simply excel at.
