SWEATER WEATHER

Morning. The Chanel Post is up and running.

I’m filled with pride, but am also totally stressed and full of expectations mixed with tiredness, after many full-on exhausting days… But hey! at least I have great make up to hide the little dark bags under my eyes ;- )

Outside is stormy and rainy – a perfect scene for drama.

I fixed myself a cup of coffee, sat down and with a sigh I thought to myself – what next? where do we go from here?

DENIM #2

I've never worn jeans to work.

When you think about it, I have, maybe, four pairs of jeans in my closet… if we don't count those goal jeans that I keep there just in case one day I manage to fit into them ;- )

I mean, If you actually think about it, I haven't worn jeans in the middle of the week for the past 10 years (at least!) not dark ones, black or white ones, expensive or cheap ones.

It's not like I have something against jeans, god forbid, it's actually the opposite. Jeans are "too cool" and that's exactly the thing! It's not them, it's me.

So it's true, I've never worn jeans to work, but in my new line of business (What do you call it? Creative and Content Consultant?!) it is certainly acceptable.

This morning, I decided to return to one of my favorite stories and give it a new interpretation with the help of two talented friends – daniel ber on & dov mudelman.

RED HOT

There are things that I guess I would never be able to understand. Such as the male brain for example.

I’ll give you an example – you got up in the morning, got ready, really put some effort in, wore your most fashionable outfit and went to work. At the corner coffeeshop you met your friend. He took a long glance at you and… the best line he managed to get out was something to do with a soccer team?! Unbelievable!

You’re convinced that your red top is a symbol for femininity and seduction and all he sees is that you’re a Manchester United fan. Go figure :- )

MY CHANEL AFFAIR

Chanel Fashion House invited me to meetup while I was in Paris. From here to there… a collaboration happened :- )

"On what planet are you on?!" you're probably asking yourselves.

Between us, I'm asking myself the same thing. The far-fetched sequence of experiences that has been following me over the last month is so surreal that I'm actually laughing at myself as I'm writing these words and saying to myself – "who's gonna believe me?"

VELVET CRUSH

You know that moment when you look at a picture from your past, embarrassed and say to yourself "My god, I can't believe I once looked like that?"

I'll give you a hint, it's usually the picture from some school party, an overnight trip or a family event, those you prepared for, and spent time, hours and thoughts in front of the mirror.

I have a few pictures like that, but the most memorable one, is the one most taken, during my recruitment party for the army – dressed in a purple, velvet maxi dress, brown colored lipstick, long hair and thin eyebrows, you can't get anymore embarrassing than that! By the way, for years that miserable picture was shown to every passerby in my dad's office (dad if you haven't destroyed it yet, this is the time to do so).

What was I thinking when I put together that heavy look?! There's no way that I actually thought I looked fashionable and cool… but then velvet came back to my life.
