PATCHE IT UP!

A friend of mine asked me to write about Abundance.

"Abundance?!" I asked. What do you mean write about Abundance?

"I decided that this year would be a year of abundance in every meaning and every way – love, friendship, success, money, health and more", she explained, "that's why if you want your year to be full of all of the things that you wish for yourself, you need to open yourself up to abundance, to wish it upon yourself and all of your readers".

That's an interesting approach… I thought to myself, though I quickly went back to what I was doing. I mean, between us, who has time to think about abundance, when you're busy laying the foundation of a new career and the only thing you have on your mind is an upcoming photoshoot?

After a few days, I went out for a walk around the city to get some inspiration. I visited shops, browsed through clothes, strolled around galleries and even discovered a new boutique hotel. Suddenly, like the old Tetris game, everything fell into place, and the bottom line became clear – it's the end of the minimalist era and the start of the overload era. Abundance!!!

CRUISE CONTROL

A New Year is at our doorstep and if we look back, there is no doubt that this past year was significant, exciting and very formative. I made some brave decisions, of which I have written in the past, I've accomplished quite a few dreams, but most of all I've lived some amazing experiences. I put my life on a new path, and now it's time to have the cruise control system continue at the same speed and adopt resolutions and goals for the new year.

FLORAL AFFAIR

If we adopt the forecast from the magazines, then it seems the upcoming Autumn is looking quite floral. When you think about it, there's something a little odd about choosing floral or bloom during a season that is mainly affiliated with fallen leaves and bare trees. But perhaps the very opposite is the whole point – from the "nothing" will grow the "something".

Many times in my life growth and renewal sprouted during periods that were gray and gloomy. The lack meaning and truth was really eating at me and didn't stop, until it became that powerful engine that drives change.

THE GOLD RUSH

It's not a secret that in the last two months I've adopted a new line of business (What do you call it? Creative and Content Consultant?!).

I've embarked on a new and exciting independent Journey, after fantasizing a lot about a profession that will combine my love for aesthetics and style, and my verbal and visionary self-expression.

I decided to abandon the endless pursuits of luxury and money, after all the more you have of those that more your appetite for them grows, and step in line for another challenge, interests and content, even if the road is not necessarily simple. I'm changing priorities.

SHAVU-HOT!

Sea of documents surrounding me,

On my dress some drops of a pen’s ink,

Thousands of messages are waiting in my inbox,

Gladly in Shavuot I will get to rest.

(a take-off on the familiar shavuot holiday song)

Every time Shavuot holiday arrives, all magazines are then filled with young, glowing women with rosy cheeks. These photos always make me wonder who are these women, standing in the center of a golden crops field? Are they planning to sing in the gardens?

…I don’t know what about you, but in Tel Aviv there aren’t any corps fields, and also I haven’t really had the chance to jump around any fields lately. At the most, I found myself singing and dancing to some toddler songs with my young niece in the middle of the living room.
