WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS

I don't know which social circles you hang out in, but one look at my friends will testify that they belong to the "Venus's (Hebrew: Noga) women" club – Opinionated career women, leaders and influencers in their industry, with keen fashion sense and fine taste (how could it not be?!).

I decided to expose the ladies of this secret club, my source of inspiration, in a series of posts. After all, Eight Thirty is not just my hour. Allow me to introduce Noga Plotnik – The head of Public Relations for Castro and Yves Rocher's marketing manager – a French cosmetics and beauty brand, mother to Romi and Michael, wife to Ohad (… only god knows how she lets him interview Hamas operatives on a daily basis) and president of the club "Blondes have more fun".

You're probably familiar with this – The workday is over, the sun is refusing to set and you've decided to take advantage of the rest of the day and spend it in summer style.

You've left the office proud of yourself for the burst of spontaneity and the sudden zest for life, you fill your lungs with fresh air and suddenly a free spirit crosses your path. Her long flowy hair blowing in the wind, her legs light like a gazelle and before you could even say snapchat she throws this look your way, like an arrow hitting its target, and says "excuse me Ma'am"?

Excuse me??? Ma'am??? Do I look like a Madam to you!?

June is coming up, and honestly I have no idea where did March, April and May have disappeared to… Where have I been?! What have I done???

This is not me complaining god forbid, and I really do love the summer, but this time around I just feel like it came really early, hasn’t it?

So before it gets too hot in here and we all start stripping our clothes off and spend time in the beach, before everyone in the office is leaving on a holiday with their kids or fly off to some bachelor party, and right before the battle of the sexes between men and women begins over how low we set the air-condition temperature – I wanted to share some fashionable tips for the upcoming season.

In a few days we will celebrate the Israeli Independence Day. I don't know about you, but we're talking about one of my favorite days of the year.

 Although hitting the streets might put you at risk of meeting a snotty teenager that might pull out the snow spray or crazy string spray on you, but what is this risk in comparison to the sheer pleasure of watching the torch lighting ceremony and bannerman, the fireworks displays, eating falafel and dancing to songs of "blue and white"?

HOLIDAY INN

All the trees wore green and I wore jeans and a hat… Because I'M FINALLY ON VACATION!

How awesome is it to take a break and jump into weekend attire or the "Friday dress code" as I like to call it. Only those who work at a place that has a strict dress code will relate – There is one shelf, a small one, in my closet where my "freedom" clothes lay. The jeans, the singles, T-shirts and all my other favorite items that don't make it into the office.

During the week I find myself looking, and not just once, at that shelf and even incorporate one of those items with my tailored office look. Though there isn't a better feeling than packing your suitcase full of holiday clothes.
