THE LOOK

ORANGADA

June is coming up, and honestly I have no idea where did March, April and May have disappeared to… Where have I been?! What have I done???

This is not me complaining god forbid, and I really do love the summer, but this time around I just feel like it came really early, hasn’t it?

So before it gets too hot in here and we all start stripping our clothes off and spend time in the beach, before everyone in the office is leaving on a holiday with their kids or fly off to some bachelor party, and right before the battle of the sexes between men and women begins over how low we set the air-condition temperature – I wanted to share some fashionable tips for the upcoming season.

One of the main colors we should embrace for summer 2016 is orange in all its shades. Many designers presented this color during New York Fashion Week a few months ago, and these days you can find it in many stores in bold or soft shades.

So how do you wear this color without looking like you just ran off “Orange is the new Black” TV set? You keep balance by mixing it with cold or achromatic pieces (colorless, such as black or white).

Another trend to embrace this hot season is the graphic lines, whether if they are horizontal, vertical or a mix of both. Wide or narrow, the graphic lines are coming to visit our closet this upcoming summer. This may be a great opportunity to add a few more centimeters or create an allusion of a height or a slimmer body-shape, but also in this case it is better to keep things simple. Incorporating a striped item with a one-color classic shirt will be the perfect doze for a fresh and fun look.

May we have a hot looking summer!  : -)
