DO IT YOURSELF

Good morning to all the dreamers!

Yes, Yes… you out there. You with the amazing ideas that wake up every morning, waiting for happiness, but life doesn’t have any room in the calendar for it.

So there are reasons, excuses, detailed explanations, but between us – Why not now?

Are you moving uncomfortably in your seat right now? GOOD! But before everything, it should be made clear – There is no need for sharp movements, embarking on financial adventures or quitting your job, god forbid. You can try, taste, test and make decisions later.  By the way, after the decision has been made, it’s advised to ask questions. To check whether the path you have chosen leads you to the place you were aiming for, or whether it’s appropriate to examine a change of course.

IT’S WEDDING SEASON!

Congratulations! Your best friend is getting married (or your sister, brother, boss… it doesn’t really matter) you want to look stunning… but then, these annoying voices start swirling around in your head – “I have to find a unique dress. Dress?! Why a dress? All the girls are gonna wear dresses. Overalls! Yes, that's it. Tight black overalls. Black?! Probably everyone’s gonna wear black. I need color! Something fresh, interesting, stylish! And most important, it should look effortless! I have to sparkle! But I have nothing to wear!!!”

ARMY GREEN

Everyone that knows me knows that I always preach color – "colors, colors, colors!" To try new shades, think outside the box and adopt a new look.

But every few seasons there is one color that stands out, that turns every visit to a shop into a trip back in time, as if I went back to my days in the Army and entered the military storekeeping. There, from the top of the gun cleaning cloth hills and the mountains of old rugged uniforms, you can't help but remember, the amused look on the face of the most important man in the area. The stylist that decides destinies and sets the future – who will be a bombshell and who will bomb out – the store keeper.

In other words, I as well, just like many Israelis, developed a certain caution and suspicion towards this shade of green. Still, five years in the army did their job (Lieutenant Kochavit Akunis, nice to meet you).

CRUISE CONTROL

A New Year is at our doorstep and if we look back, there is no doubt that this past year was significant, exciting and very formative. I made some brave decisions, of which I have written in the past, I've accomplished quite a few dreams, but most of all I've lived some amazing experiences. I put my life on a new path, and now it's time to have the cruise control system continue at the same speed and adopt resolutions and goals for the new year.

FLORAL AFFAIR

If we adopt the forecast from the magazines, then it seems the upcoming Autumn is looking quite floral. When you think about it, there's something a little odd about choosing floral or bloom during a season that is mainly affiliated with fallen leaves and bare trees. But perhaps the very opposite is the whole point – from the "nothing" will grow the "something".

Many times in my life growth and renewal sprouted during periods that were gray and gloomy. The lack meaning and truth was really eating at me and didn't stop, until it became that powerful engine that drives change.
