Things to do before you‘re 40

This week I‘ll be celebrating my 40th birthday. OMG!!!!!!!

How did this come about and where was I sleeping while all these years flew by? … Only god knows. Anyway, mentally – I‘m only 28.

Birthdays like these are considered milestones. On such an occasion, most of us will stop and take the time to conduct a vicious list of ambitions and achievements they‘ve yet to fulfill, and then there are those who will go through a crisis. My ”midlife crisis“ occurred when I was 36, by the way. I always was ahead of my time ;-)

I had quit my job and gone off to chase my dreams. In retrospect, that crisis was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. Continue Reading

HELLO, AUTUMN

The cold season is upon us again. Ok, well maybe not yet, but it will be here very soon.

As one who isn't a big fan of the cold, I admit that the move to daylight saving time got me a little excited. So yes, there's nothing exciting about leaving the office when it's already dark, even when it's still early, but on the other hand, the fashion style unique to this season definitely puts a smile on my face… so much so that, after the first rain, I hurried outside dressed in my shiny new knit sweater, only to find out that it's still like 25 degrees outside. What we call "we're definitely NOT in Europe" ;-)
