HOLIDAY INN

All the trees wore green and I wore jeans and a hat… Because I'M FINALLY ON VACATION!

How awesome is it to take a break and jump into weekend attire or the "Friday dress code" as I like to call it. Only those who work at a place that has a strict dress code will relate – There is one shelf, a small one, in my closet where my "freedom" clothes lay. The jeans, the singles, T-shirts and all my other favorite items that don't make it into the office.

During the week I find myself looking, and not just once, at that shelf and even incorporate one of those items with my tailored office look. Though there isn't a better feeling than packing your suitcase full of holiday clothes.

BLAME IT ON THE WEATHERMAN

The Israeli winter is a bit deceiving, actually it seems to me that this is the only country in the world where you can actually sun bake at the peak of winter and a week later get a chest infection from the freezing cold.

It could just be the Israeli essence – varied and unpredictable, sometimes even extreme and mostly prevents you from staying in your comfort zone. Maybe it's even the essence of creation – One moment the sun is shining, nature blossoms, and the next the sky darkens and you're flooded.

Now, take that minor detail into consideration and try to manage a fashion blog …

Ho Ho Ho!

Some of my friends are celebrating Christmas in a few days.
From time to time I write and share my holiday experiences and suddenly I noticed that not all my friends celebrate the same ones. Between you and me, that is a pretty awesome thing! Like that I get invited to more events and celebrations, and who am I to refuse a party or a good meal? ;- )
But the food… Ohhh the food… Why is it that every celebration has to include a table full of irresistible delicious goodness?!
In the holiday spirit I decided to offer a fashionable interpretation to the rigid office look that includes all the holiday attributes without looking like an over decorated Christmas tree.
So may it be a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year and if you need some help with present ideas, I'm here!
…Just don't forget to buy one for me.

I've never worn jeans to work. When you think about it, I have, maybe, four pairs of jeans in my closet… if we don't count those goal jeans that I keep there just in case one day I manage to fit into them ;- )
I mean, If you actually think about it, I haven't worn jeans in the middle of the week for the past 10 years (at least!) not dark ones, black or white ones, expensive or cheap ones.
It's not like I have something against jeans, god forbid, it's actually the opposite. Jeans are "too cool" and that's exactly the thing! It's not them, it's me.

FRINGE IT!

First thing that pops to mind when I hear fringe – Tina Turner!
There isn't another woman in the world that is best known for that trend and the way to best capitalize on its advantages, more than her
(yes that's right, I grew up in the 80's).
Maybe it's due to the mesmerizing movement of those thin strips of fabric that we are blessed with a brief comeback of this flapping trend on the runways every few years.
