I decided not to travel to Fashion Week.
It was important for me to spend the holiday break with family and friends, I was nominated for a new and demanding position, but – to be honest – I was experiencing a creativity crisis.
After two particularly busy years, I realized I needed a vacation. To find the break-even point, to locate new sources of inspiration and to relight my fire – the “conservation of energy law.”
So where are you spending the holiday?
I don’t know what about you, but my family is always willing to trade the holiday meal for Ben-Gurion Airport queues. We all know, after all, that nothing beats the holiday atmosphere at the airport! The congestion, the crowded security checks and the wonderful feeling that you may miss your flight any minute now ;-)
Last month I received two tempting offers. One business (the rumors are true, I've returned to the business world), and the other pleasure – an invitation to a private visit to the Galil Mountain Winery with friends and lots of wine.
After a year of achieving dreams and recalculating my route, it finally happened! All the dots joined into a line, and the symbolic timing proved to me that I cannot escape from myself. I'm a career woman, who finds interest and challenges in the business environment, but I'm also an uncompromising hedonist. I love fashion, beauty and style. In short, "both this and that!" So, there's no need to give up one for the other.

Yes, Yes… you out there. You with the amazing ideas that wake up every morning, waiting for happiness, but life doesn’t have any room in the calendar for it.
So there are reasons, excuses, detailed explanations, but between us – Why not now?
Are you moving uncomfortably in your seat right now? GOOD! But before everything, it should be made clear – There is no need for sharp movements, embarking on financial adventures or quitting your job, god forbid. You can try, taste, test and make decisions later. By the way, after the decision has been made, it’s advised to ask questions. To check whether the path you have chosen leads you to the place you were aiming for, or whether it’s appropriate to examine a change of course.
Congratulations! Your best friend is getting married (or your sister, brother, boss… it doesn’t really matter) you want to look stunning… but then, these annoying voices start swirling around in your head – “I have to find a unique dress. Dress?! Why a dress? All the girls are gonna wear dresses. Overalls! Yes, that's it. Tight black overalls. Black?! Probably everyone’s gonna wear black. I need color! Something fresh, interesting, stylish! And most important, it should look effortless! I have to sparkle! But I have nothing to wear!!!”
