Last month I received two tempting offers. One business (the rumors are true, I've returned to the business world), and the other pleasure – an invitation to a private visit to the Galil Mountain Winery with friends and lots of wine.
After a year of achieving dreams and recalculating my route, it finally happened! All the dots joined into a line, and the symbolic timing proved to me that I cannot escape from myself. I'm a career woman, who finds interest and challenges in the business environment, but I'm also an uncompromising hedonist. I love fashion, beauty and style. In short, "both this and that!" So, there's no need to give up one for the other.
Tomorrow I will be celebrating my 37 birthday.
This is a great opportunity to be thankful for some really good genes and also for a magnificent family, who runs cosmetic and beauty salons… or as my mom always says: “You need to know who to be born to” ;- )
I don’t know to what conclusion you’ve reached in your last soul searching, but for me, it seems I must be smarter than I’ve ever been, more honest with myself and much happier.
We were out on a fashion shoot day.
By “we” I mean Nimrod – my good friend and the talented photographer who has been accompanying me in the past year, a bunch of garments, and myself.
As like any other shooting days, we decided to meet on a Friday morning (which is the career women's day off), when this time the purpose was to shoot a fashion production dedicated to Shavuot holiday.
I woke up at 05:30AM (it’s amazing how I jump out of bed like an Olympic athlete for shooting days while on other days the alarm clock is tired of playing the same sound and begs for me to wake up and get my buttocks towards the shower), styled my hair, slowly put on my makeup and then, just when I started feeling like a model, went to load our production equipment into my private vehicle… Oh definitely! This is what you call the glamorous life! ;- )
